(1) Alabama vs. (4) Cincinnati
#icouldbewrong but this game will be much closer than most people expect it to be. I know that the Crimson Tide has the Heisman winner at QB and future NFL players all over the field. However, Cincinnati has a top notch secondary and can score just enough to force Alabama to not go with a conservative game plan which could create turnover opportunities for the Bearcats' DBs. The Tide should win the game, but I don't think it will be by 2 TDs as most sportsbooks are suggesting. I have Alabama winning this one 31-24 and advancing to yet another CFP Championship game
(2) Michigan vs. (3) Georgia
This game is expected to be the more competitive of the two semifinal games. Georgia's vaunted defense was exposed in the SEC Championship game. Will they be able to regroup and return to their elite level after having so much time off? Michigan has a very good defense, and they can control the clock on offense. They still are riding the momentum of finally beating Ohio State for the first time under Jim Harbaugh. Georgia is favored by 7.5 points and Michigan is a +235 underdog. #icouldbewrong but I'm taking the Wolverines to win outright 24-20 and set up a date with Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in the CFP Championship game.
