Bravo NFL! You just delivered one of the wildest weekends of football most of us have ever witnessed. There were double digit comebacks, including the LARGEST COMEBACK IN NFL HISTORY. There were overtime games. There was whatever that was in Las Vegas. It was nothing short of spectacular. Here are a few quick Monday morning reactions.
You Like That!? - Minnesota's historic comeback was absolutely amazing. However, it also confirmed that the Vikings are NOT serious Super Bowl contenders. If they show up the way they did in the first half against the likes of Philly or San Francisco, they'll be done for.
How bout them Cowboys?? - Will the real Dallas Cowboys please stand up? This is one of the most confused and confusing teams in the league right now. A little over a month ago they destroyed the Minnesota Vikings 40-3. Two weeks ago they slept walk through 3 quarters against the Colts before exploding for 33 points in the 4th and looking like the team most people thought they were. Then they needed a 98 yard drive in the 4th quarter to beat a 1 win Texans team last week. Then yesterday, after dominating the Jaguars for an entire half, they allowed themselves to look ahead to next week's showdown with the Eagles. However, the Jaguars didn't get the memo that the game was supposed to be over. If you can figure this team out, you deserve an award because they don't even know who they are.
The Patriot Way?? - WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?? Conspiracy theorists will say that the sportsbooks got to the players. The players are saying they made these terrible decisions to lateral the ball on their own. Belichick is saying they have to be better in situational football. All I can keep saying is WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??
